Elegant antique French 19th Century Louis Philippe style gold gilt mirror with a "wavy" or "pie crust" edge frame.
This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a Louis Philippe mirror. Louis Philippe mirrors, with their clean lines and versatile shape, are a popular choice in traditional or contemporary home settings.
The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the mirror contains its original antique mirror plate. The red bole intentionally shines through the gilding, enhancing the mirror's design and giving it a beautifully warm glow.
There are some minor imperfections to the frame, as would be expected with a piece of this age and usage, but this does not in any way detract from its charm.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.

The physical object can differ slightly in colour from the object as presented online. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but cannot guarantee that the pictures accurately reflect the colour of those goods in real life.
