Refund policy
Returns & Refunds
We hope you'll love your purchase for many years to come. Because many of our items are one-of-a-kind antiques and vintage finds, we encourage you to carefully review all photographs, dimensions and descriptions before placing your order. If you have any questions or would like additional photos, we're always happy to help.
Right of Withdrawal
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, unless one of the exceptions listed below applies.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can:
-
submit a return request through your customer account ; or
-
contact us at info@wildschut-antiques.com
Once your return request has been approved, you will receive instructions for returning your item.
Returned items must be shipped within 14 days after your withdrawal request.
Return Conditions
Returned items must:
-
be returned in their original condition;
-
be complete and, where possible, in their original packaging;
-
show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the item.
Please note that customers are responsible for arranging suitable return transport. Returned items must be packed with the same level of care as when originally delivered to ensure they arrive safely.
If the value of the item has diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics or functioning, we may deduct this loss in value from your refund, as permitted under applicable consumer law.
Antique & Vintage Condition
Our collection consists largely of authentic antique and vintage pieces that have lived a previous life. Signs of age, wear, repairs, patina and small imperfections are part of their unique character and history.
We carefully describe and photograph each item as accurately as possible. These age-related characteristics are considered part of the item's authentic condition and are not regarded as defects.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless an item arrives damaged or we have made an error with your order, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, particularly for fragile or valuable antiques. Wildschut Antiques cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged during transit.
Returns should be sent to:
Wildschut Antiques

1016 VM Amsterdam

Returns may also be delivered in person to our showroom by appointment.
