We have a hopeless weakness for exuberant Mediterranean ceramics, especially the sort that look as though they’ve lived through long lunches, clinking glasses and at least one dramatic family argument beneath the olive trees.
This large vintage bowl is hand painted with a wonderfully naïve little house tucked amongst swaying palm trees, framed by vivid greens and bold cobalt blue brushstrokes. It feels delightfully sun-drenched, as if it wandered straight out of a tiny coastal trattoria where nobody is in any hurry to leave.
Perfect for serving a mountainous salad, lemons, pasta or simply displayed on a shelf like the cheerful piece of art it really is. The hand painted details and lively brushwork give it that irresistible slightly imperfect character we always search for.

All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.

The physical object can differ slightly in colour from the object as presented online. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but cannot guarantee that the pictures accurately reflect the colour of those goods in real life.
