The Sock Revival We Didn’t Know We Needed

Maybe you’ve noticed by now: we’re not ones for chasing trends. We prefer preserving the good stuff — those time-honoured crafts that already got it right centuries ago. And these mohair socks by Atelier Margaux M are exactly that: proof that perfection needs no update!

Carefully woven in a small workshop in the Tarn region of France, these socks are crafted from soft, luxurious goat mohair — yes, the good kind that keeps your feet toasty without the itch. Each pair is meticulously hand-dyed with local plants like madder, a centuries-old natural dye that gives them their beautifully subtle hues.

This blend of exceptional material and vegetable dyes means every pair is one-of-a-kind, environmentally kind, and entirely made in France — with care, craft, and a touch of old-world magic.

Forget the Dutch "geitenwollen sokken" stereotype — these are their très chic French cousins. Warm, elegant, and impossible to take off once autumn hits (don’t say we didn’t warn you).

And here’s the marvel: one size fits (almost) all — from 37 to 42. I wear 37 myself, and they fit parfaitement.

Care couldn’t be simpler — just pop them in the machine on a wool cycle. Easy peasy, no drama, no fuss.
