Large Vintage Multicolour Venetian Murano Glass Chandelier
Vibrant Venetian “Lollipop” Murano Glass Chandelier
Marvel at the unapologetic exuberance of this grand Venetian Murano glass chandelier. A true dolce vita moment suspended from the ceiling. This is not a shy light fixture. This is a chandelier that enters the room before you do. Bellissima.
From its generous bottom bowl to the crowned top, every inch is dressed in a full glass bouquet. Delicate floral decorations bloom along gracefully curving arms, punctuated by stemmed flowers and joyful color accents. Think soft pinks flirting with sky blues, fresh greens forming the iconic lion heads of Venice, and countless tiny glass blossoms scattered like confetti after a very good Italian party.
Handmade in Murano by master glassblowers, this vintage chandelier from the 1950s celebrates the island’s legendary craftsmanship with a playful twist. The level of detail is extraordinary. Layered, intricate, and delightfully maximalist, yet balanced enough to shine in both classic interiors and more daring, eclectic settings. This piece has range. Molto stile.
Practical matters are, of course, taken seriously. The wiring has been carefully checked to ensure optimal functionality and safety. For transport, the chandelier will be professionally disassembled into its core, arms, and loose elements such as flowers. Each component is meticulously wrapped in generous layers of bubble wrap and packed in sturdy boxes, ensuring it arrives safely and ready to dazzle.
A chandelier for those who believe lighting should spark joy, conversation, and perhaps a little jealousy. Che spettacolo.
Can this chandelier be used in the US?
This chandelier has been rewired, and the wiring has been thoroughly checked. It features universal wiring designed for the higher European voltage (220–240V), but it can easily handle the lower U.S. voltage (110–120V). While the wiring is fully compatible, the bulbs must also be suitable for the lower U.S. voltage.
The chandelier is fitted with E14 sockets, a European standard similar to the U.S. candelabra base (E12). To use it in the U.S., you’ll need 110V E14-compatible bulbs, which are widely available online or at electrical supply stores in the U.S.
So to answer your question: yes, the chandelier can be used in the U.S. We do recommend having a licensed electrician install it to ensure optimal performance and safety.
