Colorful Mid Century French Ceramic Glazed Tile Panel of Anduze
A quintessential 1960s French tile panel, this vibrant and colorful piece depicts the picturesque surroundings of the village of Anduze, renowned for its pottery factories.
Though unsigned, the panel is beautifully hand-painted in vivid colors and glazed to perfection. The tiles are mounted on a wooden panel, making it an art piece on its own. However, they can also be incorporated into a kitchen wall or another space, where they will undoubtedly create a stunning visual impact!
If you're familiar with the village of Anduze and its pottery, you'll notice that this piece incorporates the same colors and glazing techniques that the Anduze pots are renowned for.
Overall, the piece is in good condition, with some expected craquelure due to its age. There is a small crack in one of the tiles, but it's not very noticeable or distracting.
