Crafted from a wicker hot air balloon basket and transformed into a wonderfully eccentric drinks cabinet, this vintage French-style bar brings a sense of adventure to any interior. Across the front, the words Comptoir des Voyageurs ("Traveller's Counter") are emblazoned on the woven basket, as though it once served champagne somewhere above the Loire Valley, drifting gently between château rooftops and lavender fields.
The reverse reveals a very practical interior, fitted with shelves, drawers and bottle holders, ready to house everything from treasured vintages to emergency martini supplies. Equal parts conversation piece and functional furniture, it occupies that delightful territory between theatre and utility.
It has a wonderfully playful character, evoking grand voyages, vintage fairs, and the golden age of travel when the journey itself was the destination.

Please keep in mind that in many cases we sell vintage and antique pieces. None of these pieces should be considered new or in perfect condition.
All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
