19th C Louis Philippe Mirror with Leaf Etchings
Antique French 19th Century Louis Philippe style gold gilt mirror intricately etched with an intertwining design of ivy leaves and flowers.
This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a Louis Philippe mirror. Louis Philippe mirrors, with their clean lines and versatile shape, are a popular choice in traditional or contemporary home settings.
The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The original gilt finish of the frame is nicely worn, giving it great character.
The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the glass is still in a good good condition. The antique mirror has slight imperfections caused by wear and age, but is in a general very fine state.
The looking glass has a couple of very tiny spots, all part of the mirrors authentic look and charm.

Please keep in mind that in many cases we sell vintage and antique pieces. None of these pieces should be considered new or in perfect condition.
All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.

The physical object can differ slightly in colour from the object as presented online. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but cannot guarantee that the pictures accurately reflect the colour of those goods in real life.
