Good Condition, with signs of handling or age.

The frame with passe partout measures H 90 cm. W 73 cm. The image measures H 69 cm. W 52 cm.

Robert Savary was a French painter and figurative artist who lived from 1920 – 2000. He obtained the Prix de Rome in painting in 1950 and taught from 1957 at the regional school of fine arts in Rouen (of which he became the honorary director) while living in Paris and spending his summers in Collioure. He was appointed painter of the Navy in 1987.
