Beautiful patina on this elephant and he can be used as an ottoman, footstool or sculpture. A great tribute to these magnificent animals.

History – In 1927, a leather footstool in the form of a pig was designed for retail at Liberty & Company in London.  Dimitri Omersa took over the production of this model in the 1960s and began to introduce his own designs, beginning with an elephant. The collections of leather footstools produced by Omersa and Company were retailed in the United States through Abercrombie & Fitch starting in the 1960s and continued into the 1980s.
