Rectangular 19th C Mirror with Geometric Pattern
19th Century gilt wood rectangular mirror with geometric motifs.
A French gilt wood rectangular mirror from the end of the 19th century, with geometric motifs.
This tall rectangular mirror captures our attention with its golden finish accented with red undertones, perfectly complimenting the geometric etched effects.
The mirror has a wooden frame, decorated with gesso and gilded with gold leaf. The frame features pearl beading on the interior perimeter. The mirror dates from about 1880.
The glass is original from the time, which is why there are some (very) small weathered spots in the glass. The frame is in a good healthy condition and has a beautiful antique patina.
This mirror is antique and looks very modern at the same time. It will make a fantastic decorative accent in any interior.

Condition & Photography
Please keep in mind that we only sell vintage and antique pieces and none of our pieces should be considered new or in perfect condition. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use. We restore our pieces so they will be clean and in a good working condition. However we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
The physical object can differ slightly in colour from the object as presented online. We have made every effort to display colours accurately, but cannot guarantee that the pictures accurately reflect the colour of those goods in real life.
